Job Overview
This position seeks a Senior Software Engineer (or higher level) to lead the expansion of DevOps tools and processes across various teams at Skyworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate extensively with firmware and software teams to understand and address their needs.
- Clearly communicate technical ideas and project proposals.
- Develop and recommend solutions informed by team requirements and industry best practices.
- Implement and maintain continuous integration frameworks.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
Mandatory Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Over eight years of professional experience in software development, firmware, or DevOps.
- Proven expertise designing, deploying, maintaining, and championing software DevOps tools and workflows.
- Strong knowledge and practical understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, along with technical presentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience creating and managing virtual machines or containers using Docker or similar technologies.
- Capability in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex software architectures.
- Proficiency with GitHub for version control.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and MlOps platforms.
- Working knowledge of Jenkins for automation.
- Familiarity with build automation tools like Make and CMake.
- Strong skills in Python and familiarity with additional scripting languages.
