Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance to stabilize and enhance equipment performance, focusing on continuous improvement and cost-efficiency within company policies.
• Respond promptly to equipment error and alarm alerts during manufacturing processes.
• Perform detailed equipment health assessments and troubleshoot issues swiftly.
• Draft procedures, operational change approval procedures (OCAP), and reports related to machine problems.
• Identify opportunities to enhance tool availability, reduce cycle times, increase utilization, and lower costs.
• Engage actively in projects aimed at continuous equipment improvement on production lines.
• Serve as the delegate tool owner, managing tool performance to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Comply strictly with health, safety, and environmental protocols and requirements.
• Provide support during safety, ISO, and 5S audits.
• Assist in managing equipment spare parts inventory and upkeep.
• Support engineering staff training through preparation of materials, cross-training team members, and progress reporting.
• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, discipline, and practices (5S, occupational hazard management, ESD awareness).
• Handle ad hoc assignments given by supervisors or managers.
• Plan effectively for corrective and preventive maintenance ensuring high equipment reliability and process stability with efficient resource use.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Capability to work swing shifts including weekends, and in cleanroom environments.
• Ability to operate autonomously with strong task prioritization and adherence to procedures.
• Demonstrated technical expertise and knowledge of semiconductor process equipment.
• Proficient communication skills and experience coordinating with tool vendors for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Experience in repair and maintenance of various tools including Lithography exposure systems, coaters, developers, bonders, and scrubbers.
• Competent with MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) programming is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret FDC charts and use Power BI is a plus.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and handle diverse assignments.
