About the Role
Viable Solutions Pty Ltd is in search of an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Sydney, Australia. This position requires a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies with expertise across cloud platforms and experience in regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Develop responsive, component-based user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript, ensuring code quality and maintainability in a TypeScript-focused development environment.
- Design and implement robust back-end services using Node.js, including RESTful APIs, middleware solutions, and interactions with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Build and manage microservices architectures effectively.
- Leverage cloud services from platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, utilizing serverless functions, managed databases, along with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Apply infrastructure as code approaches using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate and manage cloud resources.
Experience and Industry Background
Candidates should possess between 5 to 7 years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade software solutions. Prior work experience within banking, financial technology, or regulated sectors is highly desirable and will distinguish applicants.
