Senior ServiceNow Application Developer / Programmer

Overview

This senior role involves taking full ownership of ServiceNow solutions that underpin essential asset management and technology operations in a mission-critical environment based in Saudi Arabia. You will lead the implementation and continuous management of Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) capabilities, combining hands-on development work with platform specialization, requirements gathering, asset inventory governance, and process enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, configuration, and maintenance of ServiceNow Hardware and Software Asset Management features.
• Deploy and manage SBOM solutions to enhance visibility, tracking, and governance of software assets.
• Develop and sustain ServiceNow applications aligned with business and operational needs.
• Work collaboratively with internal technical teams and stakeholders to collect, clarify, and document requirements accurately.
• Drive management and governance of technology inventory, maintaining precise and accessible asset information.
• Optimize the ServiceNow platform using administration and development skills to accommodate evolving business processes.
• Integrate and utilize Azure cloud technologies alongside ServiceNow solutions.
• Investigate and resolve technical challenges while continuously improving systems.
• Provide technical leadership ensuring solutions are reliable, secure, and sustainable.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of eight years' experience in software engineering, application development, or ServiceNow implementation.
• Formal technical education or certification in a relevant engineering or technology discipline.
• Proven proficiency in ServiceNow administration and application development with specialized expertise in Hardware and Software Asset Management.
• Hands-on experience with SBOM solutions and software asset management methodologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow’s capabilities for enterprise asset management.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud technologies and cloud-based environments.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, capable of converting requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and take full ownership of complex projects.
• Commitment to accuracy, security, system reliability, and continuous improvement of technology processes.
• Eligibility to obtain the BI Full 6C (T4) public trust clearance; U.S. citizenship is not mandatory.
