Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Application Developer to manage and enhance ServiceNow solutions that support vital asset management and technical operations. This position involves leading the deployment and ongoing administration of Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) capabilities to elevate technology visibility and efficiency within a mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of ServiceNow Hardware and Software Asset Management systems.
- Develop and oversee Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) solutions to improve software tracking and governance.
- Create and sustain ServiceNow applications aligned with operational needs and business objectives.
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements for effective solution delivery.
- Manage technology inventory and governance to ensure accuracy and accessibility of asset data.
- Enhance platform performance through ServiceNow administration and development expertise.
- Utilize Azure cloud technologies in conjunction with ServiceNow for integrated solution delivery.
- Identify and resolve technical problems, proposing and implementing sustainable improvements.
- Provide expert technical leadership during both implementation and ongoing operations to guarantee solution reliability and maintainability.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of eight years in software engineering, application development, or a related technical discipline.
- Formal technical education, certification, or degree in a relevant technology or engineering field.
- Proven proficiency in ServiceNow administration, implementation, and application development.
- Experience with ServiceNow Hardware and Software Asset Management modules.
- Hands-on experience with Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and associated asset management processes.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud technologies and enterprise cloud environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for working collaboratively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Self-driven with effective priority management and ownership of complex projects.
- Commitment to accuracy, security, system stability, and continuous process improvement.
- Eligibility to obtain BI Full 6C (T4) public trust clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is not mandatory.
