We are seeking a Senior Researcher to spearhead influential projects that advance both practical applications and foundational theory in the field of artificial intelligence. Research Focus Areas

• Utilizing AI for semiconductor design and optimization
• Conducting fundamental AI research supporting internal projects and the global scientific community

Current prominent topics include large language models (LLMs), optimization approaches in deep learning, reinforcement learning (RL), and generative AI models.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead major machine learning and AI research projects
• Invent and apply novel algorithms and solutions aligned with organizational goals
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior researchers and interns
• Collaborate with leadership to define and adjust research directions
• Establish and maintain partnerships internally and externally
• Obtain funding through grant proposals and partnership development
• Publish findings in leading AI conferences and journals
• Continuously monitor cutting-edge developments in AI and associated disciplines

Qualifications & Expectations

• PhD in Machine Learning, AI, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or related discipline, or equivalent research experience
• Strong publication history in premier conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, or ACL
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and methodologies
• High proficiency in programming languages like Python and C++
• Proven leadership capabilities in research settings, capable of independent and team collaboration
• Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex concepts and influence research strategies

Desirable Attributes

• Experience with optimization, reinforcement learning, and large language models
• Knowledge of semiconductor chip design and applied AI research
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX
• A record of successful research funding acquisition and partnership cultivation
