- Conceive, develop, refine, and evaluate new quantum algorithms compared to classical alternatives.
- Simulate quantum algorithms using classical computing infrastructure to analyze performance metrics and scalability.
- Build and sustain expansive, scalable software libraries ensuring effective integration across applications.
- Work in close collaboration with hardware, software, and research teams to guarantee alignment and maximize impact.
- Disseminate research outcomes through publications and presentations at scientific conferences and workshops.
- Plan and conduct experimental validations, benchmarking, debugging, and enhancements of algorithms.
- Participate in client-focused consulting engagements and prototype development.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, reports, and educational materials.
- Offer mentorship, share expertise, and actively engage in team technical dialogues.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
- Authored at least two to three publications in the area of quantum algorithm research.
- Strong foundation in quantum computing principles, quantum information science, classical computer science fundamentals, algorithm design, and computational complexity theory.
- Advanced understanding of classical optimization strategies and hybrid quantum-classical algorithmic methods.
- Hands-on experience with quantum programming platforms such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Quantum Development Kit.
- Capability to architect and enhance scalable quantum algorithms and software packages.
- Excellent analytical thinking, mathematical modeling competence, and adept problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record in scientific writing, technical documentation, and delivering presentations at conferences.
- Clear and effective communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
- A collaborative and dependable work approach demonstrated by accountability, reliability, and a commitment to ongoing excellence and improvement.
Benefits and Work Environment
- Work alongside a diverse and passionate team devoted to a significant and pioneering mission.
- Contribute to shaping the future of quantum technologies.
- Experience a dynamic, creative, and open startup culture that encourages growth and advancement.
