About the Role
This position leads the planning, tracking, documentation, and risk oversight of Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Business Development projects. The incumbent ensures progress is monitored consistently and updates are provided to meet targets and readiness milestones, aligning with the company's strategic goals and delivering defined project accomplishments effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project planning and execution, overseeing progress, organizing review sessions, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and resolving obstacles to maintain project schedules.
- Manage all project financial aspects such as budgeting, expense monitoring, and reporting to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Develop compelling business cases and justify investments for project initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and value delivery.
- Drive creation, recommendations, and execution of a detailed project roadmap matching MRO Business Development long-term goals.
- Execute end-to-end project plans across all MRO functional areas by closely working with stakeholders and departments including IT, Finance, Procurement, Contracts, CAMO, and other divisions.
- Serve as the central liaison for stakeholders, managing cross-functional collaboration for aligned and timely project completion.
- Ensure buy-in from MRO leadership and stakeholders through regular, clear communication supporting effective decision-making.
- Oversee compliance with project charters, service level agreements, contracts, and assist commercial processes like invoicing and vendor management.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage risks by proactively addressing issues and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure detailed documentation, communication, and escalation of risks, assumptions, and constraints where necessary.
- Govern and continuously refine the MRO project management framework, including policies, tools, processes, and governance forums to enhance consistency and efficiency.
- Promote adoption of project management best practices by raising awareness, providing training, and standardizing methodologies across teams.
- Carry out other department-related duties as directed by the Head of Department.
- Establish and align department or team objectives with business goals, regularly reviewing plans and making necessary adjustments.
- Supervise personnel by directing daily activities, recruiting, training, developing, and disciplining to ensure high service standards.
- Train and develop staff for career progression, ensuring proper succession planning.
- Commit to national talent development by coaching national employees preparing for promising careers, thereby supporting the program’s growth and success.

Qualifications
- Either a High School/Vocational Qualification/Diploma with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years related experience.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Familiarity and proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Clarizen.
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
