Senior Project Manager (Hybrid Work Model)

Position Overview

Quorum Software is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to join our team in Perth or Brisbane, Australia. This hybrid role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, global environment focused on revolutionizing digital workflows within the energy sector. The candidate will lead multiple complex software projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring projects meet timeline, budget, and scope targets while collaborating across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage several software implementation projects concurrently, overseeing all phases from start to finish.
• Establish clear project objectives, deliverables, and business goals aligned with company strategies.
• Create comprehensive project plans detailing schedules, milestones, resource requirements, and allocation.
• Engage and communicate efficiently with clients, internal teams, and executive leadership to maintain alignment and transparency.
• Track project progress continuously, adjusting plans proactively to mitigate risks and resolve issues.
• Ensure projects adhere to industry best practices and methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall as applicable.
• Provide frequent progress reports and updates to stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making.
• Promote a collaborative, productive environment fostering teamwork and high performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least seven years of professional experience in project management, particularly in software implementations.
• Expertise with various project management frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Strong capabilities in leadership and managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with project management tools like Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Trello.
• Possession of PMP or equivalent certification is advantageous.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively under pressure.
• Legal eligibility to work in Australia is mandatory; visa sponsorship will not be provided.
