Senior Expert / Advisor - Energy Components Midstream

About the Role

Join Quorum Software in Abu Dhabi as a Senior Expert leading sophisticated software implementations within midstream energy sectors such as LNG, terminals, and hydrocarbon logistics. This position involves heading complex enterprise-scale deployments and serving as a trusted advisor to clients in dynamic, international environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide teams through large, enterprise-wide energy system deployments encompassing architecture, design, integration, testing, and rollout phases.
• Provide technical oversight over SQL-based systems, API integrations, and cloud infrastructure (including AWS or equivalents).
• Manage several client projects simultaneously within complex operational settings and mentor delivery consultants to enhance team capability.
• Lead discovery workshops to capture client workflows involving LNG cargo optimization, terminal management, and hydrocarbon nominations, delivering scalable and aligned system architectures.
• Act as a senior stakeholder liaison ensuring technological solutions meet business operational needs and industry standards.
• Maintain expertise on midstream value chains, including shipping, custody transfer, and LNG terminal operations, advancing delivery approaches and templates.
• Assist sales and pre-sales teams by contributing to RFPs, offering domain knowledge, and tailoring demonstrations to client scenarios as required.

Candidate Profile

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or related analytical fields.
• Minimum seven years’ experience implementing enterprise systems in complex energy operations, specifically midstream oil & gas or LNG domains.
• Expertise in LNG cargo scheduling, terminal management, hydrocarbon logistics, or oil trading platforms.
• Proven leadership of delivery teams of 8+ members in client-facing settings.
• Solid understanding of enterprise systems integration, data flows, and architecture concepts, with hands-on skills in SQL, APIs, and enterprise applications.
• Experience in major energy companies, including national oil companies or international operators.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Preferred experience with Quorum Energy Components or similar hydrocarbon accounting platforms, LNG operations, cloud technologies such as AWS, and modern DevOps approaches.
• Familiarity with the Middle East energy sector is an advantage.
