Senior Product Manager

Role Overview

As a Senior Product Manager at Diligent, you will take charge of the roadmap for a key segment of our governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) SaaS platform. This platform transforms how executives and boards collaborate securely and effectively. Your focus will be translating customer challenges and market trends into straightforward, impactful product features, working closely with engineering, design, and commercial teams to realize them.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and refine the product roadmap using customer insights, data analytics, and market trends to decide feature priorities.
• Lead end-to-end strategy and roadmap development for emerging Diligent business lines involving AI, data analytics, and insights.
• Align product direction with Diligent’s vision for modern governance, ensuring the roadmap delivers tangible business value.
• Serve as the customer advocate by conducting discovery and validation exercises, transforming insights into well-defined user stories and requirements.
• Guide an agile, multidisciplinary team comprising engineering, UX, marketing, sales, and customer success to create and deliver high-quality SaaS solutions.
• Establish performance indicators and goals, monitor user engagement, and iterate product features based on data and feedback.
• Approach complex challenges by dissecting ambiguous problems, balancing trade-offs, and making informed, data-supported decisions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Substantial experience managing B2B Enterprise SaaS products, including AI assistants and agents, with a history of launching successful features.
• Proficient in agile methodologies, backlog ownership, and writing user stories within cross-functional teams.
• Skilled in conducting customer discovery and validation, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative insights for product decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across departments without formal authority.
• Analytical mindset comfortable with metrics, experimentation, and quantitative reasoning to measure impact and resolve issues.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Proactive ownership mentality focused on driving projects from inception through launch and iteration.

Desirable Experience

• Background in governance, risk, compliance, security, fintech or related B2B enterprise sectors.
• Familiarity with large-scale, multi-product platforms or secure collaboration tools.
• Experience mentoring product managers or serving as a quality gatekeeper in product decision-making.
