Job description
Position Summary
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible each day for engaging with customers to collect agreed fees and promptly resolve any payment-related challenges. You will collaborate with the sales team when necessary to address any outstanding debts. This role suits an organized, detail-conscious individual with excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving capabilities who is motivated to contribute to ongoing improvements in this critical area of the company.
Primary Duties
- Oversee and pursue collection of overdue receivables through direct communication with customers.
- Follow up on unpaid invoices, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided to facilitate timely payment.
- Keep comprehensive records documenting collection activities, transaction details, payment statuses, or reasons behind delays.
- Collaborate with the Sales Department to clarify and resolve any discrepancies affecting collection.
- Report regularly to management on the progress of collection efforts.
- Identify accounts at risk of non-payment, monitor them closely, and assist in reducing billing errors.
- Support special projects as assigned.
