Job description

Overview

This opportunity is offered through a partner company based in Ireland seeking a Senior Product Manager specialized in Analytics Features. The role centers on leading the strategy and development of data-driven analytics products that empower app businesses to enhance monetization decisions.

You will oversee the vision and roadmap of analytics tools such as dashboards, charts, benchmarking mechanisms, and predictive lifetime value (LTV) models. This position requires combining product leadership with analytical and technical problem-solving in a data-intensive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the portfolio of analytics solutions, ensuring scalability and alignment with overarching product objectives.
  • Guide the enhancement and development of analytics capabilities including visualizations, metrics, benchmarking, and predictive analytics.
  • Engage directly with customers to comprehend their needs, analyze complex data issues, and translate findings into impactful product innovations.
  • Create and maintain benchmarks and metrics that assist app developers in understanding performance and monetization opportunities.
  • Investigate anomalies in data and metrics, identifying root causes beyond initial engineering assessments.
  • Collaborate closely across cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, design, leadership, and go-to-market stakeholders to evaluate technical feasibility and launch high-quality analytics features.
  • Break down strategic goals into executable plans with realistic timelines, managing product discovery, experimentation, and delivery.
  • Make autonomous product decisions within the domain, contribute broadly to product strategy, and uncover new avenues to generate customer and business value.
  • Develop strong cross-team relationships to deepen customer empathy and keep pace with industry trends.
  • Track product performance continuously and pivot or sunset initiatives that fail to deliver anticipated value.
  • Within the first year, establish full ownership of your product area, achieve tangible customer impact, set a long-term product vision, and help evolve overall product strategy.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum five years of experience in product management or comparable roles, with a proven track record of launching complex products from conception to release.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities, including practical experience with SQL or similar data tools for independent data investigation and metric development.
  • Strong technical understanding encompassing APIs, data models, system architecture, and technical trade-offs; coding is not mandatory but prototyping with code and AI-assisted tools is expected.
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering and data science teams, capable of communicating complex technical details effectively.
  • Proficiency in analytics products, data visualization, experimentation methodologies, and transforming data insights into actionable outcomes.
  • A customer-centric approach, adept at comprehending user needs, challenging assumptions, and converting feedback into scalable product solutions.
  • Familiarity with the mobile application industry, app monetization, economic drivers, and success factors for app developers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with clarity across diverse formats, teams, and time zones.
  • Strong ownership mindset, initiative, and proactive problem resolution.
  • Comfort handling ambiguity in high-pressure settings requiring decisions with incomplete data.
  • Systems thinker able to transcend individual customer requests and architect scalable solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for designing high-quality data visualizations aligned with meaningful insights.
  • Pragmatic with a balance between quality focus and a preference for rapid shipping and iterative experimentation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fully remote, international environment collaborating across multiple time zones.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary of $207,000 USD.
  • Competitive equity package in a dynamic Series C startup.
  • 10-year exercise window for vested equity options.
  • Fully remote role promoting autonomy and flexible working conditions.
  • Between 4 and 5 weeks of flexible annual time off.
  • Paid coworking space or desk allowance.
  • Budget allocated for dedicated home workspace setup.
  • Stipend for ongoing learning and professional growth.
  • Chance to influence analytics products that operate at significant scale and drive revenue growth for app businesses.
  • Work alongside experienced professionals from diverse functions including product, engineering, data, design, and market-facing teams.
  • Significant strategic and executional autonomy over product direction.
  • A culture that embraces international and remote-first collaboration spanning multiple countries and time zones.
