Role Purpose
As a vital member of the KSA sales team, the Senior Preseller will focus on maximizing sales volume, minimizing stale inventory, meeting distribution goals, implementing merchandising standards, collecting receivables, and delivering exceptional customer service. Adherence to standardized operating procedures ensures consistent quality across the market. The role requires ongoing communication with supervisors through daily updates and participation in training to enhance skills and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell the complete product line to designated customers and meet or exceed sales targets while keeping stale inventory below agreed thresholds.
- Ensure agreed service levels are provided to customers by following scheduled call frequencies and daily route plans, monitored through daily supervisory debriefings.
- Conduct daily and weekly vehicle inspections as per procedures, maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of sales vehicles, and promptly report any defects or damages.
- Deliver orders punctually with all necessary details including delivery arrangements.
- Maintain inventory levels at customer sites to agreed standards to avoid stockouts.
- Implement store merchandising plans as directed, coordinating with company merchandisers when applicable.
- Report relevant competitor activities in the assigned area to supervisors.
- Perform daily reconciliation of all payments including cheques, cash, and credit sales.
- Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards at all times.
- Adhere strictly to safe driving practices and traffic regulations.
- Achieve performance targets measured by key performance indicators; failure to meet these may result in disciplinary measures.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification.
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and account management.
- Strong communication and negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to manage conflicts effectively.
- Experience in sales planning and basic accounting.
