About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Planner to lead and oversee complex EPCM and EPC project scheduling and planning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Planning & Scheduling function including execution planning, maintaining schedules, managing changes, progress evaluation, forecasting, and reporting.
- Guide and mentor the planning team to enhance functional capabilities and foster collaboration with clients and project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain planning baselines for managing projects, controlling variations, and assessing performance.
- Conduct schedule control through critical path analysis, earned and planned value assessments, schedule variance and performance indices, and schedule risk analyses, recommending corrective measures as needed.
- Update project schedules based on actual progress and prepare comprehensive management reports.
- Integrate inputs from clients, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to track progress, identify risks and trends, and support project decision-making.
- Coordinate schedule risk management proactively, advising on corrective scheduling actions to mitigate potential threats.
- Ensure timely and accurate schedule reporting for project control and stakeholder communication.
Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively within teams.
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, or construction-related fields.
- Over 15 years of experience in execution project environments with deep knowledge in execution planning, schedule quantitative risk analysis, schedule updates and change management, progress tracking and reporting.
- Minimum 5 years of on-site construction experience in EPCM or EPC settings.
- Practical expertise in developing logic diagrams, critical path networks, and detailed construction schedules.
- Experience managing large-scale, multi-discipline EPCM projects from their inception through to close-out phases.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and specialized project controls software applications.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying technical project details to diverse stakeholders.
- Superior organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities, follow direction, and lead others to ensure high-quality deliverables.
