Overview

The Senior Payroll Specialist will serve as the subject matter expert managing payroll processes across North America, Canada, and Europe with 8-10 years of professional experience. They will ensure precise and compliant payroll execution and provide timely reporting to support business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end review and processing of payroll for multiple countries including Europe, the US, and Canada.
• Maintain strict compliance with all applicable federal, state, provincial tax, and labor regulations alongside company policies.
• Collaborate closely with People teams for seamless payroll operations.
• Stay updated on legislative changes affecting payroll and ensure global compliance.
• Accurately gather, verify, and maintain employee payroll data covering earnings, deductions, and hours worked.
• Manage payroll taxes, garnishments, benefits, and retirement contributions.

Experience and Skills

• Proven track record in handling complex multi-jurisdictional payrolls across Europe, North America, and Canada.
• Strong proficiency with payroll systems such as ADP, Cloud Pay, and Workday.
• Experience with third-party payroll service providers.
• Deep understanding of payroll laws, tax rules, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent team leadership and strong customer service orientation.
• Exceptional organizational skills and effective time management.
