About the Role
We are seeking a Platform Messaging Engineer to join our Infrastructure Platform Services team in Gurugram. This role focuses on ensuring the messaging systems are efficient, dependable, and highly accessible. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure and network teams to develop and maintain the middleware services that enable seamless data flow across our enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and upgrading RabbitMQ messaging environments to ensure stability.
- Supporting and maintaining middleware tools including Biztalk and RabbitMQ; knowledge of Kafka or Itiviti Fix is a valuable plus.
- Designing and supporting high-availability configurations across multiple data centers.
- Participating in system upgrade initiatives, ideally employing blue-green deployment strategies.
- Handling both development and operational support tasks for all middleware products.
- Automating routine operational tasks, managing cron jobs, and implementing monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Splunk, Nagios, and New Relic.
- Utilizing basic SQL skills within SSMS to interact with databases.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in a similar position managing messaging systems.
- Strong understanding of messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ and Biztalk.
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka or related middleware technologies.
- Knowledge of clustering, high availability, and geographically distributed deployments.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation, especially with PowerShell.
- Comfortable with both Linux and Windows server environments, deployed on-premises and in cloud platforms including Azure and AWS.
- Experience supporting large-scale, distributed systems infrastructure is advantageous.
