DevOps Engineer

Overview

A leading enterprise is assembling a dedicated delivery team for an extensive, multi-phase Mendix program. The team requires a skilled DevOps Engineer to take charge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and manage the application environments specifically for Mendix web and native mobile applications hosted on Microsoft Azure. The role is based in Gurugram, India, with an option to work onsite at the client’s location in Dubai. Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume ownership of and enhance an existing Azure environment and CI/CD pipelines developed by a prior team.
• Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD workflows for Mendix web applications as well as native mobile builds targeting iOS and Android platforms.
• Oversee application environments throughout all stages including building, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployment.
• Facilitate production releases, including phased rollouts by modules, data preparation, and cut-over activities.
• Coordinate native mobile release processes for app publishing to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Collaborate on performance and security testing efforts and address issues during post-go-live stabilization.
• Create comprehensive documentation for CI/CD pipelines and environments, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer to the client’s designated support team.

Role Requirements

• Proficient experience with Microsoft Azure platform.
• Demonstrated expertise in building CI/CD pipelines for Mendix web applications.
• Hands-on experience in managing CI/CD pipelines for Mendix native mobile builds on iOS and Android.
• Strong skills in managing multiple application environments.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Certification in Mendix (including state level and certificate ID if available).
• Experience delivering projects in government or other regulated sectors.
• Background in financial or case-management system implementations.
• Knowledge or experience with Arabic/RTL applications and Arabic language skills.
• Familiarity with working in the Middle East region.
