Senior Network Engineer

Overview

Madre Integrated Engineering seeks an accomplished Senior Network Engineer specializing in Data Center networking with Cisco ACI expertise, cloud connectivity, network security, and enterprise infrastructures. The professional will oversee the implementation, administration, optimization, and troubleshooting of sophisticated Data Center, cloud, security, and network environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage advanced Data Center networks using Cisco ACI technologies.
• Configure and maintain Leaf-Spine topology, VXLAN overlays, Endpoint Groups, Bridge Domains, Application Profiles, Access Policies, and Virtual Port Channels.
• Oversee and improve cloud network connectivity across Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments.
• Integrate hybrid cloud and on-premises network systems effectively.
• Provide support for extensive cloud migration projects, including Azure ExpressRoute deployment.
• Manage Network Access Control systems, facilitating the transition from Cisco ACS to Cisco ISE platforms.
• Implement and administer enterprise wireless network services.
• Configure TACACS+ protocols for network device authentication procedures.
• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot network security appliances such as FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Maintain and configure Cisco Nexus and Catalyst 6500 switches, Wireless LAN Controllers, and associated infrastructure.
• Leverage AI, machine learning, and automation tools to advance network operations, enhance monitoring and management.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network challenges ensuring high availability, security, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or related disciplines.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in network engineering roles.
• Proficient in Cisco ACI and Data Center network architectures.
• Expertise in Leaf-Spine architecture, VXLAN, Endpoint Groups, Bridge Domains, Application Profiles, Access Policies, and VPCs.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including Azure, GCP, and OCI, especially in hybrid cloud network design.
• Demonstrated experience in managing cloud migrations and Azure ExpressRoute implementations.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco ISE and NAC systems with ACS to ISE migration experience;
• Proficiency in wireless network deployment and TACACS+ authentication technology.
• Experienced in administering FortiGate and Palo Alto firewall systems.
• Advanced handling of Cisco Nexus, Catalyst 6500 switches and Wireless LAN Controllers.
• Understanding and application of AI, machine learning, and network automation within operational environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Must be currently located in Qatar with a valid Qatar ID.
