Job description
Position Overview
Join Snoonu as a Senior Mobile Engineer specializing in Android development. You will actively contribute to building new features within product or technical teams, following an agile scrum framework. This role demands strong collaboration, feedback incorporation, and everyday use of English for communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new Android features across various product and technical teams.
- Participate in technical backlog planning and software development cycles.
- Adhere to scrum-driven processes while engaging productively with team feedback.
- Utilize English proficiently in daily workplace interactions.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 4 years experience in native Android development using Java/Kotlin.
- Solid grasp of core Java/Kotlin concepts including standard collections, multithreading, and garbage collection mechanisms.
- Hands-on production experience with Kotlin coroutines and dependency injection frameworks.
- Proficiency with AndroidX UI components like Navigation, RecyclerView, and ConstraintLayout.
- Skilled in crafting custom Android views.
- Understanding of Clean Architecture and MVVM design patterns.
- Fundamental knowledge of HTTP protocol.
- Experience with Git version control and git flow workflow.
- Intermediate English proficiency sufficient for professional communication and comprehension.
Desired Additional Experience
- Familiarity with Android animations including Value/ObjectAnimator, transition framework, and MotionLayout.
- Experience implementing adapter delegates.
- Competence in unit testing Android applications.
- Working knowledge of Room database library.
- Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform development.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and Compose Multiplatform.
- Familiarity with trunk-based development methodologies.
