Role Overview
This opportunity allows you to leverage your leadership, client relationship, and technical expertise within our Microsoft 365 Centre of Excellence in New Zealand. You will be the key technical escalation point, ensuring a superior experience for users relying on our Modern Workplace offerings. Your role involves guiding the business and clients in adopting and continually improving Microsoft 365 capabilities, spanning data management, communication, collaboration, security, and identity access management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage core Microsoft identity services including Azure AD, AD Connect, ADFS, and Microsoft Identity Manager.
- Utilize modern Office 365 collaboration tools such as Teams, Planner, Groups, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Yammer.
- Oversee video conferencing and collaboration platforms like Teams, including integration with hardware solutions such as Poly, Cisco, and Zoom.
- Maintain proficiency in competitor collaboration and identity platforms.
- Manage email security and archiving solutions including Office 365 ATP/EOP, Mimecast, and Avepoint.
Candidate Profile
- Eligible New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident for required clearances.
- Proven background in ICT professional services with extensive hands-on Microsoft 365 engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Office 365 core collaboration services, including Exchange Online mailbox management and protection, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Azure AD identity management covering users, security and distribution groups, Office 365 groups, devices, and guest users.
- Familiarity with Azure AD authentication technologies like Azure AD Connect, Password Hash Sync, Pass-through Authentication, Seamless Single Sign-On, ADFS, Azure MFA, and Self-Service Password Reset.
