Role Overview
In the Sales Development Representative role, you will focus on generating and qualifying new sales leads across the Asia-Pacific region to support the sales team. Your efforts will include sourcing and engaging prospects through phone and email, creating opportunities aligned with inbound marketing leads, and scheduling initial discovery meetings for sales within designated territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate qualified meetings that translate into sales pipeline prospects.
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales growth targets.
- Understand and maintain the drive necessary to reach or surpass goals consistently.
- Identify and research potential customer companies to support lead qualification processes.
- Navigate organizational structures to attain required information.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to align with regional objectives.
- Use market and business insights proactively to enhance sales approaches.
- Work with mentors to set and achieve personal performance goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in Salesforce CRM and Sales Engagement tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience managing prospect pipelines within CRM systems.
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, decision-making, and organizational capabilities.
- Confidence in initiating and navigating conversations with new prospects via phone.
- Demonstrated ability to transform initial refusals into qualified sales discussions.
- Outstanding communication and social media skills to maximize market access and engagement with prospect accounts.
- Ability to learn and retain knowledge about the Identity & Access Management sector and Ping's solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS sales environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
