Senior Manager - Development - Urban Core

Role Overview

The Senior Manager - Development is responsible for guiding the comprehensive development leadership of a significant Urban Core mixed-use precinct. This precinct includes diverse elements such as public realms, public spaces, retail outlets, food and beverage venues, commercial offices, lifestyle areas, civic amenities, mobility infrastructure, and destination features.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the overall development strategy and formulate the business plan for a major mixed-use precinct.
• Take accountability for the development outcomes across the precinct's various portfolio assets.
• Set clear development goals aligned with the objectives of the Urban Core and the broader organizational vision.
• Lead all phases of development activities, including feasibility, design, procurement, construction delivery, activation, and readiness for operation.
• Promote and drive decisions that maximize long-term asset value, commercial viability, and placemaking quality.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Development, Architecture, Urban Planning, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is preferred, particularly an MBA, MSc in Real Estate Development, Urban Development, or an equivalent advanced qualification.
• Bring over 10 years of experience in development roles, including at least 3 years in leadership positions overseeing major integrated mixed-use projects.
• Demonstrated client-side expertise managing large multi-asset developments.
• Strong expertise in development strategy, conducting feasibility studies, investment planning, and precinct delivery.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary consultant and project teams.
• Preferably, experience working on large-scale projects within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
• Exposure to giga-projects, sovereign development entities, or master developers is highly advantageous.
