Role Summary

The Customer Success Team within NIQ CMI is dedicated to delivering world-class insights and reporting that drive exceptional client satisfaction and advocacy. This department plays a central role in our company’s success.

This role requires building strong, trusted partnerships with both clients and internal teams, including marketing, sales, and category management. You will assess client needs and design insightful, data-driven solutions that align with their strategic and tactical objectives.

Leading a team of research analysts, you will oversee their development and coaching to ensure high-quality deliverables and foster innovative approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of analysts to consistently produce high-quality, actionable consumer insights.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with senior stakeholders at client organizations.
  • Develop, coach, and inspire your team to grow professionally and contribute creative solutions to client challenges.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and manage projects to ensure client requirements are translated into optimal NIQ-GFK CMI service delivery.
  • Share and exchange best practices and industry knowledge across NIQ-GFK teams to foster continuous improvement.
  • Deliver analytic and insight services, including tactical client training for NIQ-GFK CMI products such as Brand Health, segmentation, usage and attitudes, customer experience, shopper research, and qualitative analysis.
  • Ensure flawless research and analytics outputs that meet client expectations.
  • Identify new business opportunities during client interactions and collaborate with Account Development for follow-up.
  • Understand clients’ key business goals thoroughly and position NIQ’s capabilities to support those objectives.
  • Create compelling data stories and present clear, actionable recommendations to help clients grow their business.

Candidate Profile

We seek a high-performing professional who thrives on client centricity and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. You have a solid understanding of the market landscape, NIQ’s CMI products, and internal processes. Collaboration and active listening are key to your approach.

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree with at least 7 years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in client sales and account management, specifically with public sector clients.
  • Strong background in quantitative market research and relevant industry knowledge.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, business models, and solutions such as Brand Health, segmentation, usage & attitude studies, customer experience, and shopper insights.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a history of delivering projects punctually.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building internal and external relationships.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience working in analytical environments.
  • Previous coaching or managerial experience.
  • Innovative and positive problem-solving approach.
  • Advanced presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
