About the Company

RF360 Singapore Pte., Ltd., part of Qualcomm's Information Technology Group, is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join their IT Engineering team. This role focuses on enhancing enterprise data solutions and improving data analytics capabilities.

Role Summary

The Senior IT Engineer will lead the design, deployment, and ongoing development of the Enterprise Datahub (EDH) utilizing Databricks technology. The engineer will ensure these platforms integrate flawlessly with existing business intelligence and ERP systems. Acting as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, the occupant will work alongside multiple stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing and improving the Enterprise Datahub infrastructure using Databricks, ensuring it integrates smoothly with established BI and ERP platforms.
• Provide support for advanced business intelligence and data platform projects, ensuring high-quality standards, timely delivery, and alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, system architects, software developers, and data analysts to convert requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Design, build, test, and optimize moderately complex data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows as well as semantic layers and reporting functionalities in coordination with development teams.
• Leverage technical expertise and AI-enhanced optimization techniques to elevate data quality, reliability, validation, and operational efficiency across all supported platforms.
• Innovate by proposing and developing new ideas, process improvements, and automation that enhance the platform and user experience.
• Communicate complex technical information clearly and within appropriate timelines, tailoring messages for diverse audiences.

Qualifications and Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Informatics, Information Technology, Data Engineering/Analytics, Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
• Alternatively, at least 5 years of IT experience without a degree is acceptable.
• Demonstrated experience in data engineering, application support, business intelligence analytics, or similar IT roles.
• Strong proficiency with Databricks, GitHub, dbt, ETL processes, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL database management.
• Experience with generative AI tools, such as Copilot or large language model-based assistants, for improving development productivity and documentation quality.
• Ability to independently analyze and resolve moderately complex technical challenges with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including stakeholder management, teamwork, and effective communication—both written and verbal.
• Track record of contributing to system enhancements, process optimization, and maintaining operational standards.
• Fluency in English for professional communication.
