Role Overview

This position involves close collaboration with engineering teams and stakeholders to conceive, develop, and deploy impactful software that advances product innovation, supports data-driven decisions, and enhances engineering efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement software tailored for R&D EDA systems supporting PD, aligning with engineering and business goals.
• Gather and analyze requirements, system workflows, data application, and processes to recognize and enact improvements.
• Manage the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering, coding, testing, to deployment, as well as user training and support.
• Produce well-structured, maintainable code accompanied by source documentation and thorough testing.
• Utilize modern integrated development environments and continuous integration tools with automated tests.
• Extensively incorporate advanced AI-assisted coding tools throughout the software development process.
• Contribute effectively to team objectives by delivering quality outputs within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with over 3 years of experience in RF/Analog IC design and testing, plus 2 years or more in ASIC/RF design or verification.
• Alternatively, Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least 1 year of ASIC design or verification experience.
• Or a PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong software development fundamentals and understanding of design and development processes.
• Proven experience in debugging, testing, and providing documentation for software solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Capability to translate user requirements into efficient technical solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and Bash.
• Preferably skilled in C++ programming using STL and Boost libraries.
• Basic familiarity with graphical user interface (GUI) and database design.
• Experience working within Linux operating systems.
