Senior EDA Software Engineer

Company Background

RF360 Singapore Pte., Ltd., part of Qualcomm's Engineering Group focused on RFFE ASIC Design, is seeking a skilled software engineer to join their research and development team focused on EDA software systems.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy software solutions that support R&D Electrical Design Automation systems in alignment with engineering and business objectives.
• Gather requirements and analyze workflows, data flows, and operational processes to identify areas for enhancement.
• Manage the complete software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, implementation, testing, deployment, user training, and ongoing support.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code accompanied by proper tests and user documentation.
• Utilize modern integrated development environments and continuous integration frameworks that emphasize automated testing.
• Leverage advanced artificial intelligence tools extensively throughout the software development process, integrating AI-powered coding tools.
• Contribute effectively to team goals by delivering high-quality work within expected timelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Firm foundation in software development principles and methodologies.
• Experience debugging, testing, and documenting software solutions.
• High analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Skilled in translating user requirements into effective technical implementations.
• Advanced knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and/or Bash.
• Preferably proficient in C++ programming, including STL and Boost libraries.
• Basic understanding of graphical user interface and database design principles.
• Familiarity with Linux operating system environment.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with over 3 years of experience in RF/Analog Integrated Circuit design related to RF front-end modules and RF lab equipment testing, along with at least 2 years of ASIC/RF design or verification experience.
• OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 1 year ASIC design, verification, or related experience.
• OR PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
