About the Role
We are actively recruiting a Senior IT Administrator specializing in IT Service Management (ITSM) focused on ServiceNow, joining one of Europe's leading AI engineering IT service providers. This role is responsible for steering the strategic advancement of IT Service Management based on ITIL standards, modeling complex IT processes, and independently implementing necessary tool customizations. Additionally, you will take charge of specific parts of the IT infrastructure, evolve system landscapes through projects, and act as the primary technical expert for the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and enhance ITIL-aligned IT Service Management processes with a future-focused approach.
- Structure complex IT workflows and independently execute required system modifications.
- Administer and manage designated segments of the existing IT ecosystem.
- Continuously modernize and expand system environments through various IT initiatives.
- Serve as the lead technical authority and main point of contact for the ServiceNow platform.
- Manage operating system environments including Windows Server and Linux, plus provide support for cloud services on Microsoft Azure.
Candidate Profile
- Completed degree in (Business) Informatics or equivalent solid IT training.
- Several years (approximately 4 to 6 years) of experience in system administration, IT support, and operational IT management.
- Proven expertise in actively contributing to and enhancing modern IT process structures.
- Substantial experience configuring and administrating the ServiceNow platform effectively.
- Strong practical knowledge managing Windows and Linux server environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Fluent in German and English both spoken and written, with business-level proficiency.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (about 1 to 2 times per quarter) to domestic company locations.
Remote Work and Travel
This position offers a flexible hybrid remote working setup, generally allowing around four remote working days per week from offices located in Hamburg, Frankfurt, or Munich. Relocation or travel expenses will be covered if applicable.

- Salary up to 75,000 EUR per year, negotiable based on qualifications.
