Job description
Position Overview
We are currently recruiting a Senior IT Administrator with a strong focus on IT Service Management (ITSM) using ServiceNow for a leading European AI Engineering IT service provider. Your key responsibility will be to drive the strategic development of ITSM aligned with ITIL best practices, model complex IT processes, and independently implement necessary tool adaptations. Additionally, you will oversee portions of the IT infrastructure, develop the system landscape within projects, and act as the central technical expert for the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and enhance ITIL-based IT service management processes with a future-oriented mindset.
- Structure complex IT workflows and autonomously execute required system modifications.
- Administer and provide operational support for designated areas of the current IT environment.
- Continuously modernize and expand system environments through diverse IT initiatives.
- Serve as the lead technical expert and primary contact for the ServiceNow platform.
- Manage Windows and Linux server operating systems as well as cloud services on Microsoft Azure.
Candidate Profile
- Completed degree in (business) informatics or equivalent professional IT training.
- Around 4 to 6 years of professional experience in system administration, IT support, and operational IT management.
- Proven skills in actively supporting, shaping, and progressing modern IT process structures.
- Strong expertise in configuring and administrating the ServiceNow platform.
- Proficient knowledge and practical experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructures, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to undertake occasional domestic business trips roughly once or twice per quarter.
Work Arrangement and Benefits
- Flexible hybrid remote working model with about four days remote per week from offices in Hamburg, Frankfurt or Munich.
- Relocation and travel expenses covered if applicable.
- Salary up to €75,000 per year, negotiable based on experience.
