Senior Interior Designer

About the Role

Whizz HR is recruiting a Senior Interior Designer to join a top Architectural Engineering & Consulting Firm based in Dubai. This role requires a talented and technically skilled designer experienced in large-scale and high-rise interior projects with strong proficiency in Revit and prior Dubai project involvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee interior design projects from conceptualization through to completion.
• Create design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, space planning arrangements, and presentation materials.
• Produce comprehensive Revit drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, joinery details, and construction documentation.
• Collaborate closely with architects, MEP, structural engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure cohesive project delivery.
• Manage project deliverables and timelines while handling technical design coordination.
• Perform site visits to guarantee the design intent is maintained during the construction phase.
• Develop and review FF&E schedules, bills of quantities, specifications, and select appropriate materials.
• Lead, guide, and mentor junior and mid-level design staff.
• Participate in client meetings to communicate and present design ideas and proposals.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related fields.
• 5 to 10+ years of professional interior design experience.
• Proven experience working on projects based in Dubai.
• Experience specifically with high-rise building projects is mandatory.
• Background in interior design consultancy or architectural consulting is preferred.
• Advanced skills and expertise in Revit software are essential.
• Thorough understanding of FF&E, materials, finishes, joinery, and construction detailing.
• Experience across residential, hospitality, commercial, retail, or mixed-use developments.
• A strong portfolio showcasing concept development and successful project delivery.
