Role Overview
The Senior ILS Engineer is responsible for supporting Project Managers, Engineering Leads, and Design Authorities by delivering Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) engineering outcomes in line with project tailoring and contractual obligations. Collaborating with engineering teams, this role ensures the production and submission of ILS contract data requirements and supporting documentation throughout the project lifecycle, adhering to the Contracted Data Requirement List (CDRL) and agreed engineering deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering ILS engineering outputs for assigned projects according to contract and program specifications.
- Collaborate with the Speciality Engineering Discipline Lead to enhance ILS capabilities, encompassing process and tool development.
- Support engineering teams with data management and documentation to fulfill ILS requirements.
- Produce and submit required ILS-related engineering documentation and system products within the project timeline.
Candidate Profile
- Possess tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Integrated Logistics Support, or relevant scientific disciplines, or equivalent industrial experience.
- Bring over 3 years of tenure in senior engineering roles focusing on Integrated Logistics Support.
- Hold at least 6 years of post-graduate experience in one or more engineering disciplines, preferably.
- Demonstrate strong theoretical and practical engineering skills allowing for delegated engineering approvals within their practice area.
- Capability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance at NV1 level.
