Overview
We seek a meticulous and proactive Senior HR Operations Specialist to join our HR department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role entails managing daily HR functions, facilitating employee onboarding and offboarding processes, and ensuring full compliance with company policies and administrative standards. The specialist will act as a primary HR contact for staff, nurturing a constructive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HR teams to implement management-approved strategies, policies, and programs consistent with Saudi legislation, international standards, and operational continuity.
- Oversee the comprehensive employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, contract management, training coordination, performance evaluation, and employee relations interventions.
- Address employee relations issues such as conflict resolution, disciplinary proceedings, and terminations.
- Utilize HRIS and government platforms (Qiwa, GOSI, Muqeem) for accurate employee data management and reporting.
- Maintain and update employee contractual documents through the company's HR platform and generate related reports.
- Guarantee compliance with Saudi Labor Law and local regulations covering immigration, work permits, and visas.
- Complete routine HR tasks timely and adhere to organizational policies and deadlines.
- Assist senior management with external labor law consultation and personnel management tasks.
- Participate in compensation and benefits activities including salary benchmarking and incentive program administration.
- Manage attendance monitoring to facilitate payroll processing.
- Calculate and oversee GOSI contributions payments.
- Safeguard confidentiality and security of employee information in accordance with data protection legislation.
- Advise managers and employees about HR policies, procedural guidelines, and exemplary practices.
- Coordinate with other departments on shared objectives and matters.
- Prepare comprehensive HR analytics and reports.
- Remain informed about emerging trends and effective practices in HR operations.
- Perform additional duties aligned with the required expertise as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Thorough knowledge of Saudi HR laws, including employment contracts, work permits, visa policies, and Saudization requirements.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with HR management software and government platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related area; advanced degrees or HR certifications are advantageous.
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in HR Operations or Administration.
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and consistently produce accurate reports.
- Proactive, collaborative approach with effective idea-sharing and teamwork capabilities.
- Exceptional analytical skills, strategic mindset, negotiation and conflict resolution expertise.
- Excellent communicative and coordination abilities working with cross-functional teams.
- High cultural awareness for thriving in diverse work environments.
- Flexibility and adaptability managing changes swiftly within dynamic settings.
