Role Purpose

We are looking for a seasoned and commercially minded Senior Finance Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is pivotal in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and performance evaluation across Retail, Wholesale, and E-commerce platforms. The analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful financial insights, highlight risk and opportunity areas, aid strategic decision-making, and support the company’s sustainable growth and financial health.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive annual and monthly budgets plus rolling forecasts segmented by channels, brands, and stores.
• Monitor business results versus budgets and forecasts as well as prior periods; pinpoint critical risks and potential improvements.
• Produce monthly profit and loss analyses disaggregated by channel, brand, and store, offering thorough variance explanations.
• Develop and update KPI dashboards reflecting sales, margins, expenses, and inventory metrics.
• Provide scenario modelling and financial insights to influence leadership decisions.
• Compile monthly management reporting packages and presentations for leadership and business reviews.
• Collaborate with accounting during month-end processes, including accruals and analytical checks.
• Assist in assessing new store openings, lease renewals, and investment evaluations.
• Perform operational ad hoc financial analyses to support management requirements.
• Enhance financial models and automate routine reports leveraging Excel, Power BI, and artificial intelligence tools.
• Assist with ERP and business intelligence system upgrades and ensure integrity of financial master data.
• Document financial reporting workflows to advance consistency, efficiency, and compliance for audits.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
• CIMA, ACCA, CA, or CFA certification (either fully or partially obtained) is preferred.
• Between 5 to 8 years' experience in FP&A or commercial finance roles, ideally including 2 to 3 years in the retail sector.
• Familiarity with operating multi-store, multi-channel, or franchise business environments is advantageous.
• Proven work background in the GCC region is highly desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong skills in PowerPoint presentations are mandatory.
• Experience working with Power BI or comparable business intelligence platforms is beneficial.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or a similar ERP system is required.
• Strong capabilities in financial modeling, detailed analysis, and solving complex problems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills coupled with strong commercial understanding.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate productively with diverse teams.
