Role Summary

This Senior Electrical Engineer position, located in Jeddah, offers a hybrid work schedule combining office presence and remote working days. The successful candidate will take charge of designing and reviewing electrical systems in building and infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations, standards, and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate electrical power distribution and low-voltage systems integration.
• Conduct load calculations and comprehensive technical analyses to evaluate system performance.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure cohesive design implementation.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers on design and technical matters.
• Participate actively in design review sessions and address technical challenges arising during both design and construction phases.
• Contribute to quality assurance protocols to uphold project standards.
• Support project proposal development through technical input.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for design standards and workflow methodologies.

Candidate Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Electrical Engineering fundamentals and electrical system applications.
• Skilled in electrical design including the creation of precise drawings, detailed specifications, and rigorous calculations.
• Experience with power systems and distribution including load analysis, protection schemes, and ensuring system reliability.
• Possession of a bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Extensive previous experience designing electrical systems for building or infrastructure projects, ideally within consultancy or engineering firms.
• Proficiency in design and analytical software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and power system analysis tools.
• Sound knowledge of international and regional electrical codes and standards.
• Strong capabilities in communication, coordination, leadership, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Effective time and priority management skills suitable for a hybrid work environment.
• Professional engineering registration or eligibility is considered an asset.
