Senior E1-CNC Administrator

Job Overview

This role involves overseeing the maintenance, support, and deployment of the global JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) infrastructure and operations. The Senior E1-CNC Administrator will work closely with applications, development, and infrastructure teams to handle configuration, security management, object control, and coordinate releases. Experience in DevOps, scripting, and AI automation solutions is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and secure the JDE E1 environment, focusing on performance, integrity, and system recoverability.
• Establish and maintain standardized procedures for managing the EnterpriseOne technical landscape.
• Leverage experience with JDE 9.2 features and understand UDO, Orchestrator objects, and AIS services.
• Install and manage JDE environments on AWS cloud, including load balancing and clustering solutions.
• Perform upgrades of EnterpriseOne components on deployment and enterprise servers.
• Manage Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Application Server, E1 JAS, Orchestrator, AIS, OVR, fat clients, and third-party products.
• Configure OMW projects, promote packages, and manage builds and deployments.
• Maintain Business Services Server and Real Time Event Server (Transaction Server).
• Apply ESUs, ASUs, updates, and tools releases.
• Administer print and batch queues, conduct performance tuning using SAW and Server Manager.
• Create and manage environments, pathcodes, instances, and multi-foundations for testing releases.
• Use various monitoring tools to monitor alerts and job schedules (e.g., ControlM).
• Troubleshoot application and hardware issues; support high availability software and ensure timely end-user support.
• Manage user setup, profiles, security, and access strategies while collaborating with management and auditors; support audit reporting and processes.
• Handle global level 2/3 support, including 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Lead DevOps, automation, and AI initiatives to improve operational efficiency and cost savings.
• Create Orchestrator objects and API integrations; develop agentic AI solutions using low/no-code platforms and scripting.
• Develop project plans and maintain disaster recovery procedures alongside infrastructure and application teams.
• Research and recommend third-party utilities for environment enhancement.
• Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents and implement corrective measures.

• Software Versions: EnterpriseOne Releases 9.1 to 9.2, Toolset 9.2.X
• Additional Knowledge: Agile methodologies, Siebel, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ALLOUT toolsets, AWS fundamentals and services

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should hold graduate or postgraduate degrees in IT or Computer Science fields such as B.Tech, BE, BS, MCA, M.Tech, MS, ME, or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC administration is required.

This position is scheduled for the second shift in the afternoons and is situated in an office environment located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
