Role Overview

The Senior Digital Project Coordinator will assist in managing multiple digital and technology projects by supporting governance, financial oversight, and reporting functions. You will play a vital role in maintaining project administration and coordinating communications among various teams involved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project delivery across several technology and digital initiatives simultaneously.
  • Coordinate governance activities including reporting, risk, and issue management.
  • Manage financial tasks such as purchase orders, invoicing, forecasting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare necessary documentation including meeting packets, status reports, and minutes.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with project teams, vendors, finance departments, and stakeholders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the PMO and project workflows.
  • Provide assistance in delivering smaller projects or specific workstreams when required.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Coordinator, Programme Coordinator, or PMO Coordinator in digital, technology, or IT settings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project financial management encompassing forecasting, invoicing, and reconciliation activities.
  • Familiarity with project methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle competing deadlines.
  • Strong written communication skills suited to governance and project reporting.
  • Experienced in managing risk, issue tracking, and governance procedures.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement capabilities and high attention to detail.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with dedication to ongoing process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as PRINCE2, CAPM, PMP, or equivalent project management credentials.
  • Relevant tertiary education in Business, Technology, Project Management, or related fields.
