Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise data architecture, with a focus on modern cloud platforms and Lakehouse paradigms.

Key Responsibilities and Expertise

• Lead and design enterprise-level data architectures incorporating modern data solutions.
• Develop robust enterprise data models and comprehensive information architectures.
• Implement and manage data governance frameworks and data management practices.
• Establish data lineage, metadata management, and taxonomy standards.
• Make technology-neutral architectural decisions aligned with business objectives, selecting optimal platforms accordingly.
• Engage effectively with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and buy-in at all organizational levels.
• Operate strategically within complex enterprise technology ecosystems, demonstrating leadership and influence.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Expertise in Lakehouse architecture and contemporary cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Purview.
• Deep understanding of data integration processes, analytics infrastructures, and information flow management.
