Role Overview

The Senior Data Analyst will act as a key data evangelist within the organization, collaborating closely with teams from marketing, sales, finance, and product. This position requires hands-on access and manipulation of large datasets, development of business intelligence dashboards, and driving data governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, handle, and manipulate extensive datasets using SQL, Python, and related tools to support analytical projects.
• Create and maintain BI dashboards using Sisense or alternatives such as Tableau, Power BI, or Data Studio for multiple organizational KPIs including finance, sales, and inventory metrics.
• Lead full lifecycle analyses covering requirement gathering, design, and execution stages.
• Define key performance indicators and enforce data standardization and governance across teams.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and presentations for management.
• Develop analytical and reporting frameworks, monitor performance, and enhance quality control strategies.
• Skilled in query writing, report generation, and delivering insightful presentations.
• Conduct research and validate data entities using internal and external sources, managing exception handling, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Coordinate cross-project analyses within the Reference Data environment, including interface and workflow solution evaluations and regression testing before system upgrades.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for assigned tasks and develop innovative models addressing business requirements, utilizing techniques such as simulation, optimization, prediction, and machine learning.
• Participate actively in experiment design, execution, and result interpretation to improve ongoing strategies.
• Ensure data quality and timely reporting that supports business decisions.
• Maintain thorough documentation of analytics, tools, and processes to facilitate smooth handovers.
• Deliver training sessions on data analytics and reporting to promote data literacy throughout the company.
• Operate independently on complex projects without the need for supervision.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline; a master's degree will be advantageous.
• At least six years of professional experience in analytics, with substantial exposure to product and commercial functions within internet or e-commerce sectors.
• Proven background in e-commerce, digital media, or internet industries.
• Strong experience developing, implementing, and maintaining predictive analytics models on large datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Python, R, or analogous tools is highly desirable.
• Solid foundation in statistics and experience with statistical software such as Excel, SPSS, or SAS.
• Exceptional analytical skills, capable of translating data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Detail-oriented with excellent capability to collect, organize, and analyze complex data accurately.
• Effective storytelling and communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
• Self-driven and proactive mindset, capable of independent problem-solving and delivering high-quality results in demanding environments.
