Role Overview
We are searching for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Quantitative Dealing team. This role involves taking full responsibility for a growing suite of critical business reports, analytics, and internal data-driven applications. The position requires ensuring data reporting reliability, precision, and continuous enhancement supporting Dealing, Management, Finance, and diverse business units. Collaborating closely with Quantitative Analysts, the analyst will lead reporting initiatives from defining requirements to solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance an expanding portfolio of essential reports, analytical tools, and internal applications.
- Convert incoming reporting and analytical requests into dependable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Investigate, reconcile, and solve complex data inconsistencies across numerous systems involving multiple stakeholders.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for reporting errors and implement durable corrective actions.
- Utilize Python and SQL to extract, transform, validate, and analyze extensive datasets.
- Develop, refine, and upgrade reporting workflows, analytical procedures, and internal tools aligned with evolving business needs.
- Engage with AWS data services such as Glue, Data Catalog, Athena, and related platforms.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of reporting logic, business protocols, data flow, and technical processes.
- Examine business queries and generate analytical insights grounded in trading and operational data.
- Contribute to validation and review of risk management and dealing methodologies as needed.
- Integrate AI-based tools into client profiling, reporting, and analytical workflows to boost efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Between 3 and 5+ years in Data Analytics, Reporting Analytics, or similar data-centric roles.
- Experience within FX, CFD, brokerage, trading, or financial markets sectors is mandatory.
- Proficient in Python for data manipulation, automation, and reconciliation tasks.
- Strong command of SQL and experience handling complex datasets.
- Proven experience designing, maintaining, and improving operational reporting and analytical systems.
- Clear understanding of data workflows including ingestion, transformation, storage, and utilization layers.
- High level of attention to detail and structured data validation techniques.
- Ability to trace and reconstruct intricate business and system event chains.
- Excellent communication abilities and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with MetaQuotes MT4 and MT5 trading databases and structures.
- Experience with PySpark for processing large-scale datasets.
- Knowledge of AWS Glue, Data Catalog, and Amazon Athena.
- Exposure to AWS Lambda, Step Functions, or EventBridge platforms.
- Understanding brokerage operations such as liquidity, risk management, and profit/loss reporting.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning methods, able to incorporate AI-driven tools (like LLMs, ML models, automation) into analytical and reporting procedures.
