Role and Responsibilities

• Execute incident response activities within established frameworks to handle cyber incidents for both new and existing clients.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting in customer networks to detect adversarial presence.
• Perform in-depth host and network intrusion analysis, as well as malware reverse engineering.
• Carry out digital forensics investigations and contribute to cyber threat intelligence services.
• Deliver proactive services including compromise assessments and provide evaluations and recommendations regarding incident response tools and technologies.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of malware variants, evolving threats, and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

• Understanding of key frameworks and standards such as ITIL, SANS, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and ISO 20000.
• Logical approach to process development and data architecture design.

Technical Expertise

• Host-based intrusion analysis on Windows (both endpoints and servers) and Unix platforms.
• Network intrusion detection and analysis skills.
• Knowledge of malware categories and proficiency in malware reverse engineering techniques.
• Experience utilizing security tools for detection, diagnosis, containment, and mitigation of threats.
• Extensive familiarity with Windows server environments.
• Experience designing and maintaining security incident response plans (IRPs).

Certifications and Qualifications

• SANS certifications such as GSEC, GCIH, GCFE, GCFA, GNFA, GREM, and other digital forensics qualifications.
• CREST certifications including Certified Incident Manager, Certified Host Intrusion Analyst, Certified Network Intrusion Analyst, Certified Malware Reverse Engineer, Practitioner Intrusion Analyst, and Registered Intrusion Analyst.
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.
