Role Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and iterate the platform's content policies and community guidelines ensuring they address current challenges.
• Set moderation standards focused on crypto-related content risks such as scams, market manipulation, misinformation, and harmful financial advice.
• Establish and drive policy enforcement frameworks that balance automated tools with AI-assisted content review.
• Manage daily moderation processes, including oversight of internal teams and external service providers.
• Improve moderation workflows and quality assurance strategies for sustained effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance AI moderation capabilities, classifiers, and reporting systems.
• Monitor and respond to emerging risks and misuse patterns within the platform’s ecosystem.
• Lead high-impact incident responses concerning serious content violations and crises.
• Create escalation protocols and facilitate coordination across various teams to handle governance matters efficiently.
• Work in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and Policy divisions to ensure platform governance complies with international regulations.
• Coordinate with Creator Operations to educate and update creators about policy adjustments.
• Represent Binance Square’s governance ethos both internally and externally.
• Define and monitor governance-specific key performance indicators such as moderation accuracy, resolution times, user appeals, and the overall health of the ecosystem.
• Generate regular transparency reports and insightful data summaries for executive leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess 5 to 8+ years of professional experience in trust and safety, content moderation, or platform governance at a leading internet or social media company.
• Have strong knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and Web3, with the ability to recognize native crypto threats and malicious actors.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale moderation teams and vendor engagements.
• Capable in drafting effective policies and making decisions amidst unclear or evolving circumstances.
• Comfortable working with data-driven approaches, including familiarity with dashboards, SQL, and operational analytics.
• Fluent proficiency in English, both spoken and written, with a composed and decisive demeanor under stressful situations.
