Role Responsibilities

• Forge and sustain high-level connections with regulators and government officials throughout key APAC markets.
• Augment Binance's footprint within regional financial industry associations, utilizing current memberships or establishing new partnerships.
• Collaborate with local government relations agencies and consulting firms to gain entry into senior regulatory dialogues where direct contacts are yet to be formed.
• Act as Binance's representative in stakeholder discussions, clearly communicating company positions and collecting intelligence on regulatory guidelines and market entry criteria.
• Oversee the entire contracting process related to Government Relations vendors and consultancy collaborations.
• Administer the APAC Government Relations P&L, ensuring all engagements comply with established regulations and are well-documented.
• Work closely with the Legal and Policy teams to ensure smooth coordination on important regulatory and policy issues.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in government relations, public affairs, or policy advisement, ideally within a regional agency or consultancy covering multiple APAC territories.
• Proven skill in initiating senior regulatory discussions without relying on existing personal networks.
• Memberships or professional relationships with regional financial institutions and industry groups.
• Strong commercial insight coupled with adept stakeholder management abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication talents, enabling rapid credibility-building in new environments.
• Comfortable managing administrative and operational tasks including vendor oversight, contract management, and monitoring budgets.
• Preparedness to travel extensively across APAC.
