Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and fine-tune core trading systems optimized for low-latency environments. This role involves close collaboration with traders, quantitative analysts, and engineers to build robust systems that facilitate algorithmic trading and market connectivity.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and enhance low-latency, high-throughput trading solutions.
  • Develop and sustain connections to exchanges, brokers, and trading platforms.
  • Create components managing market data, order handling, and trade execution processes.
  • Improve system performance through detailed profiling, monitoring, and architectural refinement.
  • Partner with trading and quantitative teams to deploy and improve trading functionalities.
  • Contribute to scalable system designs capable of handling expanding trading volumes.
  • Ensure production systems maintain high reliability, stability, and operational efficiency.
  • Engage in troubleshooting, debugging, and ongoing system enhancements.

Candidate Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years software development experience, preferably in trading, fintech, capital markets, or other environments requiring performance sensitivity.
  • Proven expertise building and operating low-latency, distributed, or high-performance platforms.
  • Proficiency with systems programming languages such as Rust or C++.
  • Experience with exchange interfaces, market data systems, order management systems, or related trading technologies.
  • Strong grasp of software architecture, performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and collaborative work style.
  • Ability to thrive in rapidly changing technical environments.

Desired Qualifications

  • Background in electronic trading, quantitative finance, market-making, proprietary trading, or capital markets.
  • Familiarity with digital asset markets, cryptocurrencies, or decentralized finance tech.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, network technologies, and performance optimization.
