Project Overview

Role Summary
The Senior Contract Administrator will engage in subcontract formation and administration to ensure compliance and smooth project execution. Tasks include preparing and reviewing bid packages, managing contracts procedures, monitoring progress, forecasting, and resolving difficulties to maintain contract alignment with project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a contract management program aligned with standard procedures and manuals.
- Analyze contract terms for risks like ambiguities or scope deviations, advising delivery leadership on mitigation and monitoring remedial actions.
- Establish mechanisms to monitor contract compliance effectively.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve actions that might lead to constructive contract changes.
- Manage procedures for early identification and timely resolution of contract claims, engaging legal expertise when necessary.
- Maintain coordination with Construction, Engineering, Legal and Risk Management to ensure smooth contract administration.
- Provide financial analysis and reviews for contracts to the Senior Commercial Manager.
- Ensure compliance with contract insurance requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent with 8-10 years relevant experience, or 12-14 years without.
- Proficient knowledge of contract management within multi-disciplinary firms working on major infrastructure projects.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, working collaboratively across project functions.
- Understanding of contract law, negotiations, pricing, drafting, administration, and change order management, supported by experience or education.
- Familiarity with engineering/construction contracting practices, commercial regulations, and company policies.
- Capability to manage professional teams and make informed decisions consistent with company objectives and policies.
- Experience mentoring junior team members is advantageous.
