Role Overview
The Senior Case Manager for Workers' Compensation will lead the management of workers' compensation claims within a self-insured framework, ensuring injured employees receive appropriate medical care and facilitating their safe return to work. The role also demands compliance with relevant laws and active coordination among medical providers, employees, and company management to maintain workplace safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all activities pertaining to workers' compensation claims for injured staff.
- Coordinate medical treatments and rehabilitation efforts in compliance with legal standards.
- Manage and promote return-to-work initiatives to ensure safe and timely reintegration.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, employees, and management teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least two years of hands-on experience managing workers' compensation cases, ideally within a self-insured context.
