Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview

T&G Global Limited is embarking on an exciting phase of technological advancement and is building a new technology leadership team. The Senior Business Analyst position is pivotal in transforming business challenges into well-defined requirements, improved solutions, and tangible benefits. This role ensures a deep understanding of the problems to be solved, working alongside business leaders, product owners, architects, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis efforts across complex technology and business change projects from initial discovery through to final delivery.
• Engage with stakeholders to identify problems, uncover opportunities, and establish clear requirements and outcomes.
• Conduct workshops to map current and future business processes, define business rules, data needs, and solution specifications.
• Convert intricate business needs into prioritized, actionable requirements.
• Produce high-quality deliverables including business cases, options analyses, user stories, process models, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with delivery leads, product owners, architects, and technical teams to facilitate solution design and implementation.
• Act as a bridge between business and technology teams to ensure mutual understanding of challenges, solutions, and trade-offs.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release readiness in agile settings.
• Support testing, rollout, and change management to guarantee effective adoption of solutions.
• Build and maintain trust with senior stakeholders while providing constructive challenges when necessary.
• Provide evidence-based insights to support prioritization, investment decisions, and benefit realization.
• Enhance business analysis practices, capabilities, and methodologies within the organization.
• Mentor and coach junior business analysts and share practical approaches across the team.
• Utilize approved AI-enabled tools to enhance requirements analysis, documentation, test case creation, benefits tracking, and project insights.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced Senior Business Analyst comfortable navigating complex and ambiguous business problems.
• Strong background in IT-driven business change with expertise in requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design.
• Flexible and effective in agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery methodologies, maintaining necessary rigor.
• Capable of establishing trust quickly, communicating transparently, and delivering constructive feedback.
• Comfortable engaging with senior executives as well as detailed technical and delivery teams.
• Analytical, commercially informed, yet pragmatic, favoring practical solutions over complexity.
• Experience with enterprise systems, data platforms, digital initiatives, or ERP transformations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with portfolio or PMO-managed environments is beneficial.
• Curious and proactive about leveraging AI technologies to enhance work quality and efficiency.
