- Support testing efforts related to performance, stability, scalability, and reliability when needed.
- Track defects and testing progress with tools such as Jira, Zephyr, Azure DevOps, or related systems.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Assist release validation, production readiness checks, and monitor post-release quality metrics.
- Evaluate and pilot new automation tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance testing capabilities.
- Define testing standards, coding guidelines, reusable components, and best practices within the automation domain.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and technical guidance to junior automation and QA team members.
- Prepare and deliver testing status reports, quality metrics, defect analyses, and completion documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience in software testing, quality assurance automation, or test engineering roles, with 5 or more years preferred.
- Strong proficiency in developing and managing automated test frameworks.
- Programming or scripting skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.

- Knowledge of testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, JMeter, Jira, Zephyr, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps is beneficial.
- Experience or awareness of performance, load, stress, security, and reliability testing methods is advantageous.
- Exposure to cloud environments including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Understanding container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes in testing contexts is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving abilities, plus meticulous attention to quality details.
- Effective communication skills and aptitude for collaborating with distributed cross-functional teams.
- Ability to mentor junior colleagues and contribute strategically to automation and quality assurance decisions.
