Role Overview

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to architect, develop, and oversee cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational tools supporting our products. This position involves close collaboration with software engineers, AI/ML teams, security experts, and product managers to ensure robust, scalable, and secure platforms with high availability and automation. The ideal candidate thrives on automation, infrastructure as code, cloud native technologies, and large-scale system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage resilient cloud architectures across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Administer networking, storage, compute resources, and maintain cloud security posture.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines enabling automated testing, deployment, and release management.
  • Implement infrastructure automation through Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Enhance deployment robustness with automated rollback, validation, and release strategies.
  • Maintain system uptime and reliability across production platforms.
  • Deploy monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents, participate in root cause analysis and postmortem activities.
  • Apply DevSecOps principles to secure infrastructure and development lifecycles.
  • Manage secrets, identity, access control, and harden infrastructure against vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and manage containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes clusters.
  • Optimize container workloads for performance and cost, managing ingress, service mesh, storage, and cluster operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, AI/ML, Product, and Security teams to support development and operational tooling.
  • Document architecture designs and operational workflows, driving continuous platform and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
  • Proficiency with public cloud vendors such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Production experience running Kubernetes clusters.
  • Strong Linux system administration and networking knowledge.
  • Experience implementing monitoring and observability systems.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices including IAM and networking.
  • Proficient scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Extras

  • Background supporting AI/ML infrastructure and GPU computing workloads.
  • Familiarity with MLOps platforms and model deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with GitOps processes using ArgoCD or Flux.
  • Knowledge of service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
  • Understanding serverless architectures.
  • Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
  • Insight into distributed systems and microservices architecture.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are advantageous.
