Responsibilities

  • Serve as a critical member of the ASIC Verification team focusing on the inference accelerator's design and implementation.
  • Conduct thorough verification of ASIC designs, architectures, reference models, and micro-architectures utilizing cutting-edge verification methodologies.
  • Comprehend unit design deeply to define verification scope, develop infrastructure, and ensure design accuracy.
  • Work collaboratively with architects, designers, and both pre- and post-silicon verification teams to fulfill verification objectives.
  • Develop and enhance automated verification workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Keep abreast of current trends in ASIC verification and integrate innovative techniques to improve processes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience with over 8 years in relevant roles.
  • Expertise in building block and SoC-level testbenches with strong debugging and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in verification techniques involving random stimulus, functional coverage, assertion-based verification methods, and relevant tools.
  • Advanced skills in SystemVerilog and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).
  • Experience with design and verification tools such as VCS and Verdi, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of UPF power verification and netlist/DFT verification is advantageous.
  • Programming experience in Perl/Python and C/C++ is desirable.
  • Familiarity with the ASIC design flow from specification through GDSII.
  • Understanding of applying machine learning techniques within ASIC verification workflows.

Compensation and Additional Information

NVIDIA offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package. Salary ranges based on role level and location are CAD 155,000 to 205,000 for Level 4 and CAD 195,000 to 245,000 for Level 5. Equity and benefits eligibility are additional components of the compensation.
