Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior/Lead Architect based in Pune, Maharashtra, with 8 to 20 years of industry experience. The role entails designing building solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and budgeting, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural drawings that satisfy functional requirements and aesthetic quality within project budget constraints.
• Engage with users to gather and analyze requirements, contributing to research, conceptualization, and design development.
• Support evaluation of architectural and engineering alternatives and document meeting minutes, sketches, contract drawings, and reports.
• Participate actively in research and design exercises.
• Collaborate efficiently with engineers and design professionals for integrated building designs.
• Adhere to departmental protocols and quality assurance processes.
• Coordinate and resolve project-specific details with peers in other departments, preparing design changes as needed.
• Prepare comprehensive architectural construction drawings, specifications, and documents, maintaining the company’s graphical standards.

Required Qualifications and Knowledge

• Strong understanding of architectural design aligned with the company’s project portfolio.
• Awareness of technical building systems prevalent across various design types.
• Familiarity with international building codes.
• Knowledge of fire and life safety codes including occupancy types, travel distances, egress points, and widths.
• Understanding of disability access codes as applied to building typologies.
• Knowledge of building acoustics and appropriate treatments.
• Expertise in selecting building materials, products, and facade design including maintenance systems.
• Understanding of building signage application and standards.

Skills and Competencies

• Innovative, enthusiastic, and imaginative mindset with a strong work ethic suitable for a demanding interdisciplinary environment.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Revit tailored for building typologies.
• Exceptional communication abilities and fluency in English.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• 8 to 20 years of practical experience demonstrating strong technical expertise.
• Proficient in primary software including Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with additional software such as Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, Lumion, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Navisworks is advantageous.
