Job Overview

Join a prominent real estate development organization as an Architectural Design Engineer focusing on residential projects. This role demands ownership of the entire architectural design lifecycle — from the initial conceptualization and creative vision to the finalized design and client presentations. We are seeking an imaginative architect capable of independently creating original architectural concepts and transforming them into practical, aesthetically compelling, and commercially viable residential designs. You will help cultivate the company’s internal architectural design proficiency, minimizing the need for external consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceive and develop innovative architectural concepts and design solutions for residential developments starting from early stages.
• Manage the design process across all phases — concept, schematic, and detailed architectural design.
• Create designs that align with project vision, market needs, and business objectives ensuring commercial viability.
• Produce comprehensive architectural drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and detailed design elements.
• Generate refined 3D models, visualizations, and renderings to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Design building façades, massing, space layouts, materials selection, and other architectural features.
• Create professional presentations and visual boards for management and stakeholder communication.
• Utilize AI-driven design tools and emerging technologies to ideate, explore alternatives, enhance visuals, and optimize design workflows.
• Staying abreast of current architectural trends, new visualization methods, and AI innovations relevant to residential construction.
• Ensure all design work complies fully with the Saudi Building Code and applicable municipality regulations.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and development teams to assure constructability and integration.
• Engage with external consultants as needed and review their outputs for consistency with project requirements and company standards.
• Contribute to shaping a unique architectural identity that distinguishes the company’s residential projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or closely related discipline.
• Between four and five years of professional experience focused on architectural design.
• Substantial experience in residential building design, particularly within real estate development sectors.
• Demonstrated capability to originate and develop new architectural concepts and designs independently.
• Strong creative aptitude, architectural intuition, and proficiency in visual communications.
• Expertise in leading architectural design and visualization software including 3ds Max, Revit, AutoCAD, Lumion, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Robust familiarity with utilizing AI technologies to support architectural design processes and workflows.
• Competency in producing professional design outputs such as concepts, mood boards, 3D visuals, renderings, and presentations.
• Good understanding of relevant Saudi codes, municipal policies, and construction standards.
• Ability to translate creative ideas into feasible and buildable architectural solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to advocate design concepts effectively to leadership and stakeholders.
• Independently driven with strong ownership over complete design projects from start to finish.
